Dr. Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he directs the Networking and Information Decision (NID) laboratory. He was an Assistant Professor at National Cheng Kung University from Feb. 2012 to Jan. 2014. He received B.S. in Mechanical Electrical and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include wireless communication, information theory, stochastic geometry and random graph, network science, networked control and optimization and statistical learning theory. He was the recipient of the Best Paper Award from IEEE Globecom in 2014. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. |
