Chen-yi Chang was born in Taichang, Taiwan, ROC, on October 26, 1942. He received the B.S.E.E. degree from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, in 1965, the M.S. degree in electronics engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, in 1969, and the M.S.E.E. and the Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from polytechnic Institute of New York, Brooklyn, in 1983. From 1969 to 1974 and from 1978 to 1980 he was an instructor in the Department of Communication Engineering, National Chiao Tung University. Since August 1983 he has been an associate professor in the same department. His research interests include digital signal processing, radar signal processing, Information and Coding Theory, and Coherent Spread Spectrum Systems. |
